China“s LineShine tops global TOP500 supercomputer ranking

2026.06.23 China's domestically developed LineShine supercomputer topped the latest TOP500 ranking released at the ISC 2026 conference in Hamburg on June 23, state broadcaster CCTV reported. The system achieved 2.19 exaflops of sustained double-precision performance, ranking first on the global supercomputer list. The result marks China's return to the No. 1 position in the TOP500 ranking for the first time in nine years.
